Merry Christmas with my First Brisket!
Merry Christmas everyone. Got my smokepro LUX in finally and planning to smoke my very first brisket overnight tonight for Christmas dinner tomorrow! Plan to do a salt and pepper rub fat side up and let it run on the high smoke setting! Can’t wait to put this 17lb bad boy on later!

Do a dry run to season properly or you will regret it. I few hours will make a big difference. Best of luck with it. Post some pics.

There are lots of good start up articles on here. I always get a spray bottle filled with veg oil and spray all surfaces real well with it for initial seasoning.

First Brisket came out good. I have to get a better knife for slices but the flavor was there and still lots to learn!
