Re: How do you like your Brisket
OK, now real quickly as far as Ribs go for me (St Louis or Spares). I use a Pit Boss 340 and the 3-2-1 method. My favorite basting sauce is either Suckle Busters Original, Chipotle or Hot and Spicy Sauces. I also spritz with Apple Juice every hour and try to keep the temp between 170 and 200 for the first 3 hrs. - - - Good Luck and when you can post up some pics and recipes of your BBQ's.

Re: How do you like your Brisket
Welcome Cubano - Nice lookin brisket
I think you will find that most folks on the forum don’t necessarily cook their briskets to a certain temp. Temp is used as a guideline as to when to wrap or pan the brisket (if you are a wrapper or you pan and cover) and when to start probing to see when the brisket is done. The brisket is done when it probes like butter - that may be at 192, 199, 203, 205, etc.
Buena suerte amigo and welcome. Nice pics

Re: How do you like your Brisket
I made my first brisket about a week ago on my GMG Daniel Boone and it turned out really good. I got some great reviews on it at the party. Here is a video of how I did mine. Very simple, just took time. I messed up the video because I forgot to take video when I cut it up and served it! Directions are in the description of the video.
