Re: Looking for a Smoker
Don't know about the wisdom part but I have owned a PB 340 for a couple of years and I could not be more pleased. My youngest Son just bought an 820 and he's very satisfied also. Good Luck with whatever you decide and WELCOME to the Forum, Chuck

I have had a lot of pits both stick and pellet and personally think you'd be hard pressed to find a better value, I think you have shopped well.
BTW I use my PB 820 most often.

Welcome to the madness
Ever thought about a UDS? Run as efficient as a pellet and you can control your build cost if you build it yourself
Or still buy one within your budget.

Re: Looking for a Smoker
That was my reasoning when I bought the PB 340 but I have done 3 full racks of Spares with no trouble.
However, I must admit that regular small everyday meals or done on my ECB so far.
BTW, my son found his 820 at Lowes earlier this year on sale for $399.

It's always cheaper when i don't want it, but i will get my vet discount 10% so not bad.
