Looking at Z Grills

Postby Grills Gone Wild » Tue Oct 19, 2021 8:38 am

50th birthday later this month and want to get a pellet grill. Been looking at the Camp Chef Woodwind hard but don't feel like dropping a grand on one because I have a solid Lone Star Grillz cabinet smoker already.
I came across the Z Grills 700 series and found out they were the manufacturer of Traeger before they started their own gig. Very reasonably priced and Amazon has the 2021 700 grill for an additional $100 off.
For $550, I'm about to pull the trigger.
Any feedback from Z Grill owners or those who passed on it?

If you don't like the price of the Camp Chef Woodwind look at the 24SG or 30SG. Most of the features but only two meat temp probes. If you decide you want the side burner units they can be added later at your convenience.
