Hi there I am a newbie just finsihed building my alfresco, need to buy a bbq.
I have narrowed it down 3 choices
Lynx 54 inch 2011 model (can put charcoal in it aswell)
dcs 48 inch with double burner
Fire Magic Aurora A830i Gas And Combo Built-In Grill
Im not concerned about warranty it will be exported dcs and lynx are sold here but not firemagic, I like the idea of the fire magic having charcoal, the lynx i can put charcoal in , dcs need to get charcoal box made.
Has any one got any recommendation or has had any experince with any of these grill some feedback would be great thank you

Re: buying a new gas bbq need help
I would personally recommend either Lynx or Fire Magic. Both have quite a few more features than DCS, including the insulated hood and thermometers on the hood. If it were my choice, I personally like Lynx, but that's because all I have seen are the new ones (My family owns an outdoor Grilling/BBQ/Smoking store). If you are looking at putting charcoal in the grill, maybe take a look at Twin Eagles, they make a self contained charcoal try as well that fits where the flame tamer (ceramic briquettes) goes.
