Ive spent over 2yrs trying to get charcoal smokey flavor out of a wonderful Memphis advantage grill, yes I used the A MAZE IN and even made my own smoke bowl for wood chips and used the best pellets. when I moved I needed a new bbq and was oversold a pellet grill. the grill worked great and did everything it was supposed to but the place I bought it from was more of a profit center and went out of business. I grew up with charcoal but they convinced me it tasted the same or better and was much easier, bottom line im just not a pellet guy and its my fault for not checking it out further.
so now I cant wait to get my Napoleon 22 1/2" kettle with cart and all the options. the reason I picked Napoleon over Weber was the adjustable cast iron grates. (yes ive been asked) Kathy and her daughter at All Things BBQ in Wichita Ks. have put up with me for 2yrs trying to turn my pellet grill into something it isn't, then helped me decide which bbq might be best for me with the way I will use it. they made the whole experience enjoyable, when I get it im sure I will have many questions now that ive found this forum.
Thanks

Welcome to the forum sorry 'bout the futile struggle with pellets. That's kind of a costly error.
I have been a happy pellet cooker for 15 years but I knew what I wanted before I made the leap.
