Yep, just found out that SS Uniflame grill I got from Walmart 8 yrs. ago has a 10 yr. warranty on the brass burners....called them up--it was actually made by Blue Rhino, and they sent me 4 new
brassers for the gasser. Lesson-- always check your warranty first! I was pricing the burners and they were runnin' $50+ each. Yeah, sports fans, that's over $200 just for burners!
Anyway, my question for y'all is do I need to season the burners? I know cast iron ones do better if seasoned, but not sure about brass. If so how do I season? Just oil 'em with some high heat oil every few months or what?
Another plug here for Grillgrates! These thangs are the bomb--no more burnt outers and raw inners! if you don't have 'em on your grill, just google grillgrate and order them today!
And NO, I am not affiliated with grillgrates at all, just a happier griller!

Re: Uniflame like new
Don't know about seasoning the burners, But I have never seasoned mine, on any grill. Maybe I should have . I don't ever have one last that long.
What model do you have. I am looking at getting a new one soon. CF
