Outdoor griddle

Postby bsooner75 » Thu Dec 31, 2015 11:07 pm

Any of you guys have any experience with outdoor griddles? Thinking about either a Blackstone 36" or an Outdoor Gourmet from Academy.

I don't have any need for one, but Blackstone sure gets all of the hoopla. I saw one recently and it appeared solid.

Did you see one set up in a store? Seems like most places around here you have to order then.

I'm leaning towards the Blackstone. Kinda holding out for a sale though :)

Wife has visions of onion burgers dancing in her head and me being able to make more than two at a time :)

Me - I see pounds of bacon…

Yep, it was at a local hardware store called Hooten's. They carry everything from lightning rods to cattle fence. It was much more solid than I thought it would be. I'd buy one it a second if I could justify a need.

$279 not bad. I've seen them on Bed Bath & Beyonds website as well. I think I can use a 20% off of their $299 price and get free shipping.

I believe my brother has that Blackstone griddle. He fired it up a few years back on the 4th of July for about 30 people.
It made short work of cheesesteaks and burgers.

Very well made, good luck and congrats on your purchase bsooner 75
