If the propane tank is still connected (like inside the cabinet) I'd be looking for cover

I couldn't have taken that pic without a super duper zoom lens. I would have been a football field away.

Looks like it's burning gas straight from the tank inside, side burners and hoses are gone. I think I would be way far away from that mess until it went out.

That's about the experiences I have had with all gas grills I ever owned. (Not quite that bad, but almost). I don't have one now except for my gas grill graveyard up in my pasture. I always said when you start to use a gas grill the first thing you want to do is start the water hose running nearby. Hate 'em.

Maybe his wife was mad because he spent more time with the grill than with her....

Im wondering, how did the shelves fall off? Arent they hooked on with some kind of metal bracket or tongue and groove kind of thing? Even bolted? Were they knocked off by a mad wife and set ablaze with a can of gasoline? lol

Hey here's some nerd bomb tech info for you guys. Assuming that there are two 20lb tanks in there, you can expect a fireball of approximately 40 feet in diameter. For blast over pressure the minimum safe distance would be about 160 feet. Thats just so that the blast doesn't turn your intestines into goo or something worse. The closer you are the worse off. Now fragmentation from the cylinders detonating and the metal from the grill its self you can expect a frag radius of about 500 feet. Obviously most/all windows in the vicinity would be smoked. You could expect some decent structural damage to a house or deck depending on the distance. LOL that metal yard ornament thingy is done for. The fence in the background is going to be pretty well toasted, not to mention the concrete slab.

That's the beauty of my job. ;) I have all the charts and formulas to figure this stuff out. Sometimes we even get to try it out to see if it really works too. Anywho just though I'd add my .02 :D

btw..i have tons of data on LPG tanks and detonation velocities and all that nifty stuff if yall want to know what to expect when they go boom; :D
