Here are a few I used to build my UDS.

This one is for the charcoal basket:

This one is for a basic build of the UDS including all parts and a how to:

I agree with Davidtxs, all you need to do is type Ugly Drum Smoker into Google and there are endless discussions and threads. All parts (except for the drum) can be bought at Home Depot or Lowes. I welded mine, but it isn't required in order to build one.....

I added something to the minion and got it here i think. Took one of the big coffee cans cut the top ande bottom out and wired a long handle on it. I set it in the charcoal basket. fill up around the can with briquettes or I prefer lump plus it cheaper burns longer less ash cleanup etc. Once chimney is ready I dump it in the empty can in the basket and grab the wired handle and pull the shell of the can out and the lit coals fill to the bottom and light the fire from the bottom up. Like I and it holds well with th 4 air vents at the bottom and the Weber dome lid.
if ya use a dome lid it just needs to be the size of the Weber I think its 22.5. Academy Sports sellsw the hinged Weber grates too they are great for adding coal or stokin the fire if needed. they are 20 bux I think
ahhhhhhhhhhh just got a morphine shot lol back to sleep now
have fun
