New Barrel Paint

Postby talbrecht » Wed Jul 31, 2013 4:52 pm

I saw this asked in the last couple of weeks but I don't think I ever saw any responses and I have searched all over and haven't run across it again. I just bought a new barrel that has black paint on the outside, white paint on the lid and is completely clean in the interior. Has anyone just used the stock paint and not repainted? Does it hold up at all or do I need to burn it off and repaint with high heat paint?

BE WELL, BUT NOT DONE
Hank: "Do you know how to jumpstart a man's heart with a downed power line?"
Bobby: "No."
Hank: "Well, there's really no wrong way to do it."
