Came across this poking around. You Drummers, don't ever say I don't think kindly of you.

A little pricey to be sure, but just think if you dressed the outside down with some rubbing compound like my late Dad said the mechanics used to use on his Mustang back in the USAF days....nice and shiney.

Don't know how SS holds up versus black steel on the durability front, maybe somebody knows.
