Parting is such sweet sorrow....old faithful drum ...

Postby Grillatarian » Sun Aug 11, 2013 9:48 pm

After two years of awesomeness I sold my first drum, the Q-Bomb, to the friend of a friend, thus expanding the drum corp and good Q will for all. I already have the replacement in process and I am really looking forward to the refinements it brings to the party.

Yet, I still have this sadness about letting the first drum go. It's kinda like saying goodbye to the girl who gave you your first kiss. This next drum will be amazing and has some nice upgrades, but it will never be as magical as the first. Goodbye Q-Bomb, you will always be a hit with me!

Now that I am officially 'without drum', I must intensify my efforts to bring the next one online.

Pic of the old drum on the left, still looking fine after two great years of service. New drum, still in process, to the right.

Know the feeling. Still plotting for ManKitchen 2.0.
BE WELL, BUT NOT DONE
Hank: "Do you know how to jumpstart a man's heart with a downed power line?"
Bobby: "No."
Hank: "Well, there's really no wrong way to do it."
