Well, I was intrigued by the design of the basket and deflector. I've been using drums for years and always cooking direct over the flame. Most of my baskets were just basic expanded metal rings on a Weber charcoal grate frame. If I wanted to cook indirect, I would fire up a WSM!

I've got a BPS and Big Drum Smoker clones and we got a couple and let the smoke roll in them. I gotta say, that I was pretty impressed.

I've always loved the drum for chicken cooking.

Never have enjoyed cooking ribs on the drum, but so far I've been really happy with the results - these have not been foiled.

Thanks for looking! I've got more pics on my Left Hand Smoke "Fire it up!" BBQ FB page linked in my profile. Feel free to check it out!
