PAINT BURNED AN HOLES DRILLED
I am just a few steps closer to my uds. I am so happy. I drilled my holes and burned the paint yesterday. I was worried sick about the orange paint not coming off but it flakes nicely. I will know more about the burn off tomorrow when I dump the ashes. I have to find a good place to dump them because I used about 8 pallets for fire wood, so that means I have 8 pallets worth of nails and staples. I cant wait to make my fire basket this weekend. one question though. do you need to season the uds more than once?

Almost finished. I made the fire basket, installed temp gauge, forgot handles and that's about it. Will have to wait til next payday to paint it. I have to burn off the lid, but I will hit it with the rosebud at work tomorrow. need to finish it tomorrow so I can use it at the men's cook off at. Church Sun.
