Finished my UDS

Postby TwoGuysBBQ » Sun Jan 06, 2019 6:55 pm

Well I took advantage of the beautiful day and finished my Ugly Drum Smoker. The only thing I’m going to change is the exhaust and add a hinge to the lid.
Will be seasoning this week some time.

Very nice…I would’ve picked a different color. Personal preference. :)

That is outstanding. KTM orange.

What kind of paint have you used? Can't find any other heat resistant colors than black.

That looks great. I like the heat defuser plate. You will enjoy it.

Joernolav Regarding the paint. It's a engine high heat paint made by VHT I bought it at a local auto supply store. They have multiple colors to choose from including a clear coat they are also available online and on Amazon.
