Hi all, just another stiff tail brit noob letting you know I'm cooking all year long with the coals, in a little place across the pond called Burton on Trent (best beer in the world) anyway, thought I'd share a photo of my UDS, bless to you and happy cookin!!

Hey .. you have a few things wrong with your build.
for starters what is with your thermometers? they are too close together and they are ALSO the WRONG TYPE of THERMOMETER. you have a GRILL thermometer that goes up to 600f ... BBQ smokers need a different thermometer that has lower temp readings. what you need is something like TEL TRU.. BBQ thermometer. MAX is 450f .. not 600 or 1000f like on grill thermometers.
you will get a better read. its worth getting a good TEL TRU made in USA. thermometer. not that chinaman junk
also do you have a third hole on the back? you need one. for drainage and in case you have airflow problems.
