The only problem I saw with the pit is that it was pulled by a Chevy :oops:

Mucho better than relying on the pit to have to PUSH a Ford... :mrgreen:

Yeppers. Going to have to be careful how we load it. The idea was to give me enough room for wood (I only haul enough for the cook at hand) and other supplies. Stuff like chairs, canopy and stuff that don't weigh too much but takes up valuable space in the bed of the truck.

Finally got some paint on BUP (Big Ugly Pit)...Wired the lights too. Still need to replace the bent tongue jack though.

Thanks folks... I'm sure the neighbors appreciate it! At least I took the reverse flow pit over to my father in laws, so I don't have 2 pits in the driveway.

Sign of the times... Since my driveway is in front of the house, I figure might as well slow 'em down a bit if they want to steal it. On the other side is heavy tow chain wrapped around the trailer frame and wheel that is anchored by a 2' x 2' concrete block buried 4 feet in the ground. (it was here when we bought the place), Like I said, it is just to slow 'em down...

Looking good. :D I've seen locks that clamp over the the hitch, kinda like a Denver Boot.
