On the go BBQ/Smoking

Postby marissaauslander » Mon Apr 29, 2013 12:55 pm

Hey guys,
I have recently come across this new product that a friend was telling me about called the BBQ Dragon. I am really curious to check it out. I have seen videos praising it and I feel like it would be the best fit for me since I camp a lot and am always on the go.

Basically it says that its a portable grill starting device that would make charcoal grills be ready to go in less than ten minutes. I feel like it would be great for tailgating and camping and it says that it runs on AA batteries or you could use a phone charger to charge it.

I feel like this is a great idea, especially for the modern camper.

Any thoughts??

Here's the link to the blog in case you wanted to read more into it. http://www.urbandaddy.com/ntl/gear/2307 ... TL_Product

I just found this really interesting and wanted to share with everyone.

marissaauslander, welcome to the forum. Some one is always trying for a better mouse trap. I will stay with my Weber chimney and sterno.

Do you possibly know of any other items I could possibly use that are easily portable for like camping or tailgating?
I'm going to a festival soon and wanted to use something I could easily take with me to BBQ instead of eating the weird festival foods.

marissaauslander, the grill BluDawg mentioned is perfect for small quick meals. If your into gas for the no ash mess then you may want to try one of these.

Just choose gas then choose portable.

A friend of mine actually ordered it and tried it out before and loves it. I'm gonna buy the BBQ Dragon because she's raving about it. Thanks for suggestions. I'll post an update of how it goes :)
