Maverick 732 Modifications

Pop always said if it ain't broke don't fix it, but I couldn't help myself. I always wanted magnetic bases on the units so here is what I came up with

Keeps it up away from the heat a little bit and if a gust of wind comes along it wont blow off like its done many times before. Actually it wont blow off at highway speed either.

Found a magnet at Harbor Freight that was the perfect fit for the receiver also. Just a pop rivet through the hole in the back and it's attached.

Still can use the table stand or stick it to the side of the trailer when I'm on the ground.

Is the magnetic field effect interfering with the electronics?

Haven't had any problems with interference.
