I'm seeking a large burger press, at least 6 inches and would prefer 7 but don't want to spend $400..anybody know of one?

Real simple. Make your own out of a 6" piece of PVC pipe.

I'm sure you can find them larger but I have a 5" non-stick skillet that I use for burger patties even tho I bought it for doing single fried eggs that I want to put on cat head biscuits with cheese and a sausage patty.

Found a 4.5 inch patty press on Amazon..cheap too.
It's seems flimsy but I've used it and it works great.
Wax paper squares above and below the meat prevent sticking to the spacers.
