Grill Glove

I am trying to find a glove where the top is the heat resistant Kevlar and the palm is silicone. I want to be able to pull my meats off without burning my hands. I love the flexibility of the "Ov-Glove" type glove but also like the moisture resistance of the silicone. I have seen the 1/2 and 1/2 type glove before but can't seem to find where they are sold.

I can't help with what you've described, but I can offer a suggestion. I posted it in another thread, but I put these
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00S8W7JFG/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1over these
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00622Z2G2/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1And I can pick thinks up off the grill, have better dexterity, and don't hurt bark.

Tucker Steam Gloves, outstanding. Great flexibility and feel, and pebble grained so you can grab slippery meats. Sent a pair to Egghead, ask him what he thinks. I am on like my 5th pair.

Guess I will have to look those up and maybe get a pair of those Boots. Been using just regular old rubber gloves for years.

100% worth the money. Search the internet for a retailer; around $12 generally

Dredging up this old thread...
Before I pull the trigger on the Tuckers, I’m wondering if there’s anything else on the market y’all would consider? Also, curious about sizing. My fingers are short and stubby, but I have wide hands. In the medical world (if it helps), I would take an 8 for my palm area, but a 7 or 7 1/2 for finger length.

I got these a couple years back. Can’t really help on the medical sizing but you say palm is an 8, what is the biggest number?

Good question. Though I’m not a bear of a man by any means. Heck, I’m only 5’11”, 215#. But...8 is on the larger end. Maybe they go up to 9 in half sizes?

Yeah, I’ve done that. Was hoping to get some biased reviews from the seasoned experts here...rather than advertising and random guy commentary. That said, before checking this site, I was leaning towards these “Grill Heat Aid” gloves...

Probably need to look for at least XL. We’re about the same height and weight and a large is just too small for me.
