Hi everyone! I see a few familiar names around here and look forward to chatting with you all.

A little about me for those who don't know me:

I am 33 yrs old and mother of 2. My fiance (Les) and I have been cooking together for about 9 years. We started off using a gasser or charcoal grill and last year moved into using an offset and smoking meats. Recently we cooked for our first party of 100 and will be doing another slightly smaller party in the coming weeks. We love experimenting with new things and learning new techniques and recipes. Knowledge is power and we are always trying to improve!

Thanks for the welcome! Yes, I'm a member of another forum. I've also browsed a few others but haven't joined yet. I forgot to mention that we currently cook on a Brinkman Smokin Pit Professional........like the one found here:

Welcome aboard Allie. While not the biggest (yet), an argument could be made that we're the best.

Our next contest (see the Thrown Section) will be announced soon. All you need is a camera. And they're free to enter.

PS: No Paris talk around here, it's a family oriented board
