That's sure nice "COLOR" to my eyes, Sailor - - - we have a Dogwood Festival plus a Trailride that treks to the Festival every year - - - - it's always so nice to take a road trip and see those Dogwoods blooming in the woods of The Texas Big Thicket. :salut:

Thanks, OUP! We do have a couple pink dogwoods scattered through the yard, but the past few years' weather hasn't been kind to them.

So I'm really slacking on this thread condidering I initiated it lol.
Check out this YouTube link, it's my page from over the years. I'll look for some pics to put on here but for now, enjoy some slideshows I put together from some sightseeing and photography I took.

While ur on my YouTube page, check out the crazy whacko on the sled. We go to see motorcross in upstate N.Y. a lot and each year this nut comes out at intermission in 90 degree weather on a snowmobile lol

Disclaimer: I know that there are many large and beautiful Trees in the good ol USA but to stand underneath a big Texas Live Oak is still breathtaking to me. :texas:

thanks, Wild Bill, it's my favorite fo sho - - - another tree that I loved to see was a strip of Loblolly Pines North of Bastrop Texas - - - much prettier than the tall skinny long leaf pines of East Texas where I grew up.
