My search for a Rib Rack
I have had a few in the past but none had sufficient volume between the sections and would end up being difficult to dislodge once the Ribs were finished. I found a design I like and went thru the process to order only to find out that an uncomfortable portion of the total would be shipping.
I thought perhaps I could skin this issue with volume and contacted the company but they would not budge. They did inform me that 3 units will fit in one box and this would help tame shipping cost a bit.
I was hoping to find other Dallas folks that may have an interest.
I suck at pictures but there is a link:

Re: My search for a Rib Rack
Don't know if this will help or not but here's one that I've been using a long time with my ECB and it probably came from Wally World. The other "newer one" my son gave me last year and I haven't used it yet but I really like the height and it looks like it should stand the racks up nicely.

Should hold with ease the entirety of the Restaurant Depot Pork Rib Cryovacs that I use.

Re: My search for a Rib Rack
Thanks OldUsedParts,
They seem like nice enough folks out there in Guyton, GA. A contact from the Company has substantially lowered the shipping cost to the point where it is no longer a determining issue.
If someone with more skills than I could follow the link above and add a pic here it would be appreciated!!

Re: My search for a Rib Rack
My first attempt at the sites ubiquitous online shopping app yielded an order for a single Rack at their $39 price and upon advancing to shipping , an additional $26 & change shipping charge!!
Upon contacting the Company directly , the very helpful Leslie Tipton told me to give her a call when I was ready to place my order and arranged for 3 to be sent to me here in Dallas for a tad over $12 bucks in total shipping. A couple of other BBQ friends have expressed interest in my extra two.
Not a cheap Rib Rack by any means but I think I can make a case for a lot of bang for the buck ( go price stainless grills for instance ). I call them the "MOARR"

Re: My search for a Rib Rack
Hi,
thats my very first post in this Forum. I am from Germany so please excuse several mistakes in grammer.
in Germany it is very papular to use the VARIERA Pot lid organizer as a Rib Rack. It is made of stainless steel and it is very flexible.
there ist an synhetic rubber as Bumper but you can put it away simply an you will have an completely sainless steel Rib Rack.
hope i could help a litle bit!
