OUP...I hope your talking steel
Grailsback
No plumbing in the new addition.
Will be a little longer walk to the bathrooms for the guys.
When the new addition is up the contractor removes the back wall from the existing building and uses it for the back wall on the new addition. I had the same contractor build the existing building and they engineered the back wall so it could be moved if we ever wanted to add on more building someday.
Thanks guys
Bill

Bill, I'm ex steel structure building guy from way back, steels always been in my DNA. Your building looks so close to how we build as well. Are the purlins steel or wood, we use a lot of galv purlins here.

In that north country, with all that snow weight, I'd bet on steel.

I didn't realise that was snow country. I'd go steel too.

Re: So much for retirement
Sorry Russ and Boots to the late reply. After five 10 hour days during the week me old mind is pretty much gone
They be steel purlins. Probably made in China.
Contractor said today they will start hanging the tin on the walls then the roof
Progress is Probably taking longer then it should...my contractor is down to a crew of 3....I'm ok with that cause Ive used him a couple time before and have been extremely happy with the end results. Ive always been a loyal sob.
Besides...he's a fishing buddy,
