This recipe was passed on to me from the Widow of a Departed Friend that "we" lost last year and He loved Hot and Spicy food. So when I took my first bite, I looked to the Heavens, smiled and winked.

Hadn't planned on doing this today but the Wiffy woke up puny and said she didn't feel like getting dressed and going to town so I hit the Frig in a Frenzy. Only found one weener but I wasn't that hungry so it worked out just fine. Also wasn't enuff to fire up any Kingsford so I 'skillet'd' it. I also par-boiled the penners for 2 minutes but next time I'll do them for at least 4 min or even longer. Their crunchyness made it a little difficult to bite clean thru without acting like a tube of toothpaste being squeezed from one end BUT never fear I managed just fine.

Sooner and T-smokr have me thinking about that bacon wrap but maybe use "little smokies" instead of weeners ????

That's a really good idea. We're growing coolapeno peppers this year (last year's jalalpenos were just absurdly hot, like they thought they were habaneros). When they're big enough, we'll give this a try .

Looking GOOD buddy.

My stomach can't handle too many peppers, so I'd get some good cheddar, melt it down and use the BIG injection tip and fill those dogs up with cheddar, then throw some bacon or chili and I'll be set

I just wish japs would cook a bit faster..seems like my stuffed and wrapped versions take a LONG time to cook...hard to wait it out with hotdogs..

try par-boiling them before you grill them - - - sure works for me and it also takes some of the sting out for those less pepper bellied than I
