neighbor gave us a bag of fresh potatoes out of his garden and some purple shallots
Debbie put it together, nothing special, but excellent because of the very fresh potatoes
the batch on my plate has a big spoon full of macaroni salad mixed in

I steer clear of tatter salad, but I'm going to try your way, seems simple.

Making me hungry, too.

PS: I'll probably have to hand in my card, but yesterday, I made a last-minute emergency potato salad with CANNED POTATOES. A dollop of Italian dressing, some mayo, some MW. And the usual diced onyawns and celery and some parsley.

Nothing beats fresh, but...this was so much better than any local deli tater salad that it shocked me.

Never heard of canned tatters, wtf? Really!! Canned!!! I made some samosas yesterday, boiled REAL tatters for like 5 mins. Your recipe sounds good, but only with real tatters.

No idea, but I have a can on hand for spur-of-the-moment curry. :laughing7:

Tomorrow I will probably make a real tater salad.
