Homemade tortillas
This was a joint effort with the wife. She and my girls gave me a tortilla press a while back and we decided to break it in for some breakfast tacos with pretty good results for a first ever try.

That Recipe is almost exactly like the Alabama Coushatta Indian Fry Bread Recipe that I have except it also calls for a little milk.

Re: Homemade tortillas
Looking good! The press makes flour tortillas a bit thick. They usually turn out like pancakes when I try it.. I roll them by hand, then start hating life by the 100th tortilla. I need to make a better process. Lol

Re: Homemade tortillas
where I grew up.... the press is used for corn tortillas, a short piece of broom handle(about 6 inches long) is the right tool to roll out the flour tortillas.
