I am in the DFW metromess, Irving specifically. I bowhunt quite a bit and mess around on a forum called texasbowhunter, thats where I first heard about the Chupacabra rub. Lots of folks use it/rave about it on there, I'm going to order some of it and the brisket rub tomorrow when I have a few mintues at work.

Hey Y'all, I found that Two Gringos Rub at HEB yesterday in the Chupacabra Rub and also the Brisket Rub. Didn't score any at the moment because I have lots of spices I need to use up first. :salut:

I'm not sure about the DFW area but Academy Sports and Outdoors carries it down here in San Antonio.

Thanks for the info OUP and 2guys. I dont think Academy around here carries it, Im up there often and have never seen it there. There isnt an HEB in the whole DFW metromess. The closest one is about 45 min away, but ive been going there to get prime briskets and fresh pork bellies anyways (another thing you cant find in DFW w/o a Costco membership) so I will look for it tomorrow when I make the run up there. Thanks again guys

Maybe try Central Market. They are owned by HEB and there are several scattered across DFW…what I wouldn’t give for one HEB up here.

Thanks BSooner, Central Market carries outstanding fresh heritage pork bellies and other prime cuts of beef, but no prime briskets. You can get them from a butcher here, but they are super proud of them and usually at least double the cost per lb of HEB's. One day I will break down and buy a Costco membership lol

Sorry I didn’t read deep enough, thought you were looking for a rub. I buy my briskets at Costco although the last I bought at Winco and was very pleased. It was marked as choice or better but the marbling put it right up with a lot of the primes I’ve purchased.
