Awfully hot here

Postby GRailsback » Mon Aug 12, 2019 7:34 pm

So a quick cook of nice Midwest brats on the gasser. Cheddar brats out of Ross’s meat locker, Glenwood City Wisconsin. The warden has family there and one of her cousins is a race buddy of mine and keeps me stocked up. On a fresh heb roll.

That’s the way to do it in this heat. Nice and nice easy. Get out, get it done and back in the AC. Looks tasty

It was 97 on the patio when I cooked them. It is still 92 as I write this. Just brutal today. But we are at the peak right now, so better days ahead. Then we will get to hear about Sailor and woody shoveling snow.

Tonights was one of the better ones I have had, as I tried a different roll from HEB. It was nice and fresh, and not so big like those bollio's that I usually use. And I like the deviled egg potato salad as well.

Great looking Brat Grails, as far as the snow goes I gave up shoveling when we moved here in 2007.
I used to have 4wd and just plowed thru it and parked in the garage.
Since I'm back to just 2 wheels now I bought a Snow Eatin 3 stage Cub Cadet that rips thru 3 feet of snow and throws it a good 50 feet, it's actually kind of unnerving lol.

P.s, we have our first few leaves starting to fall off of the trees.....

Dress properly and turn that spray nozzle to 12 o'clock every 10 min or so until your sweat is the same temp as the nozzle water

They're predicting scattered Thunder Storms tomorrow and we're sure hoping to get some of it. :dont:

Altho it's against my desire but I may have to soon - - - - except for the dust, I could care less what the grass looks like and I HATE TO MOW IN THIS HEAT :whiteflag:

I always tell my Wiffy that there are only two things that would make me leave her and those are:
Getting Pregnant and Fertilizing the Grass  :laughing7:  :D
