Texas Cool Weather Food

Postby OldUsedParts » Mon Oct 07, 2019 10:41 am

The Subject is mostly a Joke because the weather is 75 and Cloudy, however, it's been such a scorcher this year, I'll take anything to prompt some "Chili with Beans". The Wife ate her a bowl for Breakfast but I'm gonna wait until after lunch to partake since I had a decent Breakfast not long ago. Of course I'll be adding Monterey Jack and Guerrero Torts to my Plate in a little while. :salut:

That looks very good, but your definition of cold weather is slightly off :laughing7:

We're back at our house and expect snow tonight, but probably only for a day or two.

I see chili coming up in not a distant future.

This cooler weather has really made the Chili hit the spot, at least for me, so I used some to make a couple of Taco Boats today.
Bagged and froze the rest. The Wiffy wanted her Tacos made with the leftover Beer Can Chicken so I used up the last of it today.
