Re: Breaking in my new Santa Maria grill
Your grill has many items that are seen on Argentinian grills. Did you get a way to drain the fat off the “V” groves on the grill? I’ve seen some where they redirect the by-products towards a bucket for less flare ups.

Yes, it has a removable trough at the front of the grate. The grate slopes down toward the front.Copasspupil wrote:Your grill has many items that are seen on Argentinian grills. Here is a you tube video that shows a similar setup. He has the 48" with dual grates and I have the 36" single, my doors swing out, his one door swings down. Both are Sunterra Santa Maria Grills.

Nicely done! Like the Kubota too.

Bobby: "No."

Re: Breaking in my new Santa Maria grill
Thanks Boots. Yeah, the Kubota sure does come in handy. Use the frontend loader for a lot of stuff. I have a forklift attachment for the bucket, used it to put the top of this grill on the bottom cart. Used it to put my Kamado smoker in it's cart too, lol.Boots wrote:Nicely done!
