Adventurous Shopping, not for the squeamish

Postby GTR » Thu Jul 23, 2020 10:28 am

Found this site while searching for something different to try on the animal dry sauna. To say the least I found "different".

Address 2210 Michigan St #13, Grand Terrace, CA 92313

Was listed under their "privacy policy". Kinda strange, most are listed under "contact".

There is a place in Colorado called Dale's Exotic Game Meat.
They had a pretty good selection of exotic meat.
We went there once, just for buffalo meat though.
I have had Alligator sausage and Alligator ribs when I was on vaca in Nawlin's.
Also had rabbit, deer, and Elk. That is about the extent of my adventure outside mainstream meat.

Imho some of that meat aren't meant for humans. Looks like a second source for a well known virus to me.

Not long ago I was looking for some Turtle Meat to make a Turtle Sauce Piquant for my Grandaughter and her Feller but the price was unbearable so I had to settle for Alligator from Hebert's Specialty Meats and everyone was happy especially my billfold  :chef: :salut:

That's what I've heard too. If I want the taste of chicken I eat chicken. All the game looks great, though.

Well I can honestly say there is a laundry list of those items I have eaten in my years. But then again I am a Coonass from Louisiana so just about anything goes lol.

I see some I would and some I wouldn’t…but mostly I’ll try something at least once.

Of all the listings I‘ve had all but a dozen or so. But I’m up for trying anything once.

If you google their phone number you will see that number has been used by more than one exotic meat market. Don't know if that's kinda a coincidence or a bait and switch kinda joint. :dont:
