Thanks in advance

My favorite so far is LumberJack. I use the 100% Hickory and get them at Atwoods Ranch and Home.

I've heard great things about their championship blend. I wish they shipped that.OldUsedParts wrote:I use B&B and I get them at Academy Sports.

I use a lot of "apple" because of Pork but I've also used Mesquite and Hickory with great success.

Ok here is a question. Anyone use both lumberjack and B&B. Obviously not together but just experience cooking with them. How do they compare?

In my review, I considered options for popular grilling pellets. I mostly use Traeger Grills Signature Blend Hardwood Pellets. They give an excellent aroma when smoked. The manufacturer uses high quality wood that is not decomposed.

I've used B&B Pecan, and Hickory, and now LumberJack 100% Hickory. I prefer the LJ for flavor but the B&B seemed to produce a little less ash.

Re: Pellet recommdations please
I have a Pitts & Spitts Maverick 2000 and a Traeger Timberline 1300 pellet grills. For years I used nothing but traeger pellets, but recently switched to LumberJack. LumberJack produces more ash, but I vacuum the ash out after every long cook or two shorter cooks. I like the 100% Apple or the Fruit Wood Blend (Apple & Cherry) for Pork, and the Hickory, Mesquite and Supreme blend (Oak, Hickory, Cherry) for Beef.

I've tried a few different ones including Lumberjacks and some from Sam's Club. Both has been decent. I also have a bag from GrillaGrills that I haven't broke open yet.KingLion15 wrote:bkeaver wrote:Can someone recommend some decent pellets? My first pellet grill will be here Tuesday.
