First time griller
I was invited to this site and since I have started to delve into the world of grilling, signed up and am hoping to hone my skills a little bit. I'll start off with copying and pasting my first grilling experience from the forum that I was invited from
Believe it or not, I have never grilled anything in my life - my wife is an excellent cook, so I have never had the desire to learn. However, our neighbors backyard smells so good in the summertime I decided it was time to buy one and learn.
While at the store, I purchased How to Grill and after a thorough read through
I couldn't decide between quesadillas or scallops for a trial run so I did both.
My family could not believe I did so well for my first time. I hid the book and pretended like it was no big deal
Anyway, on to the photos.
(smaller photos coming shortly)

Aw, a little rain ain't never hurt no one! just turn that grill around so the back is facing the hot tub and it looks like you got some kinda overhang from the house to keep ya dry.
I remember one time I was grilling buffalo shrimp on my charcoal grill and a storm rolled through. Rained like heck! Just rolled the grill close to the house and used what little overhang I had as a shelter! Just make sure you watch the heat and don't go burnin down things!
