Tablitas

Postby nascarchuck » Mon Feb 08, 2010 9:47 am

OK... I have heard enough about the Tablitas...

Do you get them from the Mexican market or would Albertsons, etc have them?

Smoked or grilled?

I assume that you just season with your favorite Sucklebusters product then cook? How long do they take to cook?

Thanks guys...
Chuck

Get them from Mexican market, like a La Michicana. They're already seasoned/marinated. Grill them hot. Man they are good!!

Chuck -
I get them from La Machiocana also .. I bout 2.5 lbs of them for $10.00 and they are actually
called Costilla Marinada (translates to Marinaded Ribs) but if you found an english speaker at
the meat counter you can ask for Tablitas. I walked back and forth the meat counter about 4
times looking for Tablitas on the little signs and could not find them.
They come already marinaded and really just need to be grilled and they have a great flavor as is.
They cook really fast also.
Enjoy them they are great.

There is a Fiesta on Hwy 80 thats about 6 or 7 mins from the house. Thats the only Mexican market I know of over on this side of town. Thats where I buy all of my produce.
