Sam's Cookoff Series

Postby Tuck » Tue Feb 08, 2011 11:47 am

Sams Club Series

Anybody signing up for the Sams Club series today at Noon?
Roadmaster BBQ will be signing up for the competition in the Fort Worth Area. Seems like there is going to be a frenzy today at Noon as there is only a 72 hour window to sign up.
Hope to see some TBBQ folks this summer for the Series.

I found this on another Forum and thought we needed the info

I think I will watch the first go-round and see how it works and the amount of teams vs. the payback...then I might get in...

Troy, I just got off the phone with someone invovled in this "cook off series", I think I will get in. As he tells me its going to be a great chance to win some big money and move to the next round of competition. Ech cook off will only have 30 teams max, the top 7 overall moves to the next level. They are going to gaurantee $400,ooo in prize money for the entire series...

Great news! Looks like if you make it to regionals then they take the top ten out of 30 teams to national final. Really good chance at some big money.
