Hi Y'all,
I'm a native Texan from Austin now living in the DC vicinity. About a month ago I received a Weber grill as a gift from my Dad. Just today, I received a box of award winning BBQ rubs from him as well. I am brand new to grilling and so far, I LOVE it.
I look forward to conversing with forum members as well as picking up a few tips/tricks/recipes.

Howdy neighbor, hope you are bearing up well in a land desolate from barbecue. I do recommend Bistro Bis in the George Hotel however for the chateaubriad...otherworldly. The mint juleps at Vidalia are also first rate, as are the grits.
