It's just lately, like within a week or two. I have things set here on my profile to get such replies. Should I check my spam folder?

I’ve been getting logged out over the past two days even though I check the remember me box.

Just idle speculation, but there has been a rash of Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks involving email servers. It could be that the emails from this forum are considered by your ISP or Email service (e.g. gmail) filters are part of the attack and they mark them as "spam" and then send them to a black hole (\dev.null for Linux types). If they start coming in again, I would bet that is/was the case..

I get that too. Someone, or more likely a "bot", tried to log in with your credentials and failed. When you come back the website knows there was a failed login attempt and requires you to re-authenticate.
