I do still think they will need some support, just on a smaller scale. I’ve never tried to grow them before, sprawling vines, or compact ‘bush’.

OUP, those weren’t the ones, I’m still looking so we can get this experiment underway . I suppose I can order from burpee.

I always used stick support on my maters, green beans and sugar snap peas - - however, I used a cattle panel for my cukes with a t-post on each end to hold it up. :dont:

I went to Lufkin Farm Supply yesterday and picked up a few things. Six packs of small tomatoes, squash, various peppers were $5 per six pack. Doing a small garden it’s easier for me to just buy the small plants than planting seeds. Now, if I were planting several rows of peas I’d plant seeds

$5 just don't go anywhere these days, but so goes the way we live.

Tickled it today; going to apply Treflon weed killer before the rain tonight. Then, I have powdered horse manure in the stalls I will spread before doing my final row tilling next week. The moon is right 4-4 through 4-6 so I’m going 4-5

Back in the "Days", I was a Cowboy and when my Stalls needed "mucking" the ?stuff? was put into our Round Pen that I used to break/start new Horses/Mules/Donkeys. That is except for Garden Season and it became my Round Garden with a fence that "critters" could not get into but the sunlight and rain could. Not many Humans could climb over into it without some major effort.

Bobby: "No."

They look beautiful. We tried growing asparagus but never succeeded.
