New forum tag line?

Postby Gator » Mon Jul 02, 2007 10:36 pm

Maybe, maybe not.

"A site dedicated to BBQ and those who like to talk about it."

I must admit that this was more a spur of the moment thought...it has served us well. However, would something else better describe our little forum?

Any suggestions?

I came up with a few...

- Texas. BBQ. 'nuff said.

- Everthangs bigger in Texas, even BBQ.

- The friendliest little BBQ forum in Texas.

- Anything about Texas and BBQ.

- We are Part fun, part serious. The serious part is about BBQ.

- We are 'bout half serious. The serious part about Texas BBQ. (or just BBQ or great BBQ)

I have two inappropriate ones:

Texas BBQ Forum, where it’s ok to rub your meat!

Texas BBQ Forum, We love to talk about our meat!

And one appropriate one:

Texas BBQ Forum, throw some meat on the fire, and talk to your friends.
D-dog's BBQ Rubs, It's better than ketchup!

You guys are a hoot!

I think it's fine the way it is but this one is nice, too.

I don't have any complaints as to the way it currently is, but I do kinda like Ddogs and Jims version of butt rub/butt rubbin, yup, truly a ton of things ya can do with butts and those were cute......but, on a serious note, if I had to vote, I'd pick:
"We are Part fun, Part Serious. The Serious Part is BBQ".
I kinda like that.
