Wish Salsa lasted longer !

Postby OldUsedParts » Thu Feb 06, 2020 2:47 pm

Just ran out of my November batch and since I'm hooked on homemade, I had to belly up. It's getting to where it really bothers my back because you have to stand at the counter so long to prepare the Veggies. So far it's worth the discomfort so I don't have to find a store bought brand just yet. Decided not to roast them this time, however. :dont:

That does look really good.

Have you looked into an anti fatigue mat to stand on? Might help a little. I get it though, prior to my surgery if I just washed a load of dishes I’d be down and out. I may have neglected telling my wife the doctor corrected that problem :)

Thanks, Gents, I must have done something right because the Wife even liked it - - - - HOWEVER on second thought maybe that's not necessarily a GOOD THING. :laughing7: :laughing7: :laughing7: :laughing7:

You don't have to ; use this and add your favorite ingredients . It's great.

I've been thinking about using canned Maters for about a year and I think I'll try it next time.
:?: :?: :?: Do you still boil your mixed Veggies including the Maters :?: :?: :?:

I have to confess, :banghead: a few year's ago I started using can diced tomatoes and the salsa turned out great, much easier on the back. I'm going to try the tomatoes Rambo uses and see how it turn's out. I googled it and Wally World has that brand.
