BTW i was a adoptee and have found both of my birth parents, 3 half siblings and a daughter.
That's cool. Lots of Scandinavian emigrated to the US. Norway had 800.000 people emigrating to the US. Highest in the world relative to the population.

Is great to hear that you git in touch with your ancestors. kroppa in Sweden is about a 4 hours drive from me.

Unfortunately I don't have much knowledge of Swedish ancestry, even if I did some research on my wife's Swedish ancestors

He married a 27yr.old German girl (spinster ;) from Mecklenburg

they eventually settle in Lynn, Missouri south of the river.
the next generation moved back to Texas.

my maternal family- the Burlesons, Rogers, Brownes are Scots-Irsh & English

Very interesting story about Peter Krohn. He seems to be the real stuff. Thanks for sharing.

I too have ancestors from Mecklenburg - Vorpommeren.

Strange how much long distance traveling it was in rge old days too.
