You have it looking great Joe; the one time I did have cookers on a wooden deck, I used the cinder block tiles and made a pad with them then outlined them with wooden strips to hold them together, this allowed for incredible heat protection; the project was actually to place a wood fired stove in my in-laws house on a wooden floor, I used bricks as the heat shield. That is someone else house now. Just wanted to throw that thought out there :idea:

Finally got the workbench in place. Still awaiting a week without rain so I can stain the deck.

Even starting to grow in the adjacent "garden".ImageImage

Nice Joe! Isn’t it the only bbq place in town? The deck is looking really nice, I wish I had time to even bbq. I’m taking some time of for this weekend and will hopefully get some meat on the grill.
