Flooding in East Texas
We’re getting hammered: lots of road closures; Many Lufkin city streets closed; still raining but the storm front and high winds have passed

Oh man, I knew it was dipping southeast but didn’t know it would get that bad. Stay safe

Hard to believe that we didn't get a lot of that Storm but we didn't

It's a mess. I've been working my arse off all day picking up limbs, etc. I had to wade into the garden barefooted to pick up several tomatoes. I'm peaved off, sick of this crap. I emptied 6" out of the gauge this morning.
Sorry for the whine but I'm mad

It came through over here, but it stayed north of where I am at during the day. In the hotel lobby this morning they were calling for flooding. They said New Orleans was getting an inch every 15 minutes.

It’s been a Helluva day here. Too many limbs, etc. BUT, I’m fortunate; just down the road there are trees down

Re: Flooding in East Texas
Glad y'all are OK.
I hope Kevin & Debby are OK in Vidor.
We've got a storm cell west of SA headed our way with 50 mph straight line winds reported. I'm not worried about flooding at our house as we're on a hill but figuring we're at risk for limbs down & power outages especially with trees in utility easements bit by Winter Storm Uri not addressed.
Update - 70 mph winds reported.

We got lucky last night, that storm cell lost a lot of energy before it got to our area. Most of the state including our area is in for another round today.

My Youngest Son and their Family and Friends say that Tram Road in Polk County is mostly completely flooded.

I have deep sugar sand. We’ve lived here 22 years. It’s the first time, after say 30-45 minutes, that water is standing on top. There’s more coming this afternoon
