The guy in the second picture was rescued. He got an engine failure and his boat was about to be sucked down. Remember this is caused by tidal current. Not bad weather or waves.
It's a great diving spot but you have to be aware of the times of the tidal flow or you are doomed. It's completely calm for a period before the tidal flow shifts.
