Portable Fridge/Freezer

Postby egghead » Sat Jun 12, 2021 5:48 am

The new Geaux Tiger Bubba truck has and onboard 7.2 kw generator (it’s actually an inverter) and I have found good uses for it so far. Fairly minor so far but it’s been used running an electric pressure washer and drill (remote from any power).

Having a transfer switch installed at our house so we can run about a third of the house when power goes down like it did for several days after the freeze. Will simply turn several breakers off and run from the Geaux Tiger Bubba truck. Can run for 32 hours on a tank with a full 7.2 kw load. Thanks

Have used it to run a freezer on three trips transporting frozen goodies - one to south Louisiana and two to Katy. It will come in real handy on a three day trip with a bunch of frozen brisket, pulled pork, etc.

The unit has two compartments. Both compartments can be freezer, both fridge, or one fridge and one freezer. Plug it in the receptacle in back of the Geaux Tiger Bubba truck to keep it running while driving and roll it in to the motel overnight.

I have seen those types of units in motorhomes for extra storage.
