Heading Out to Sea

Postby GRailsback » Sat Jun 19, 2021 2:46 pm

We waited out the storm, Claudette, at the dock in Port Fourchon La. So heading out this Fathers Day Weekend to continue the never ending quest for hydrocarbons. Just another in a long line of things you miss out on in this profession. I do take a little solace that my son will be at home with his family and kids this weekend.

Looking forward to photos of what ya'll cook up this weekend. Best of luck. Now get started Sooner.

Happy Fathers Day to all those away from family on sea and inshore that pull the dragons from the ground.

The politicians seem to think this country runs on their natural gas, but it’s the drillers, distillers, and 18 wheelers that make America move.
BE WELL, BUT NOT DONE
Hank: "Do you know how to jumpstart a man's heart with a downed power line?"
Bobby: "No."
Hank: "Well, there's really no wrong way to do it."

Port Fourchon Better known to some as "The end of the world" lol. Been there many times my friend when I was driving for E.L. Farmer oilfield trucking in the heavy haul division. Safe travels and please be careful. As for me it is a rest day no cooking here.
Happy Fathers Day to everyone!.

No rain in my area Rambo, or no rain yet. We are in Mississippi Canyon Block 255. Swapping out Norwegian computers that have failed. If you look at a map of the Gulf of Mexico You will see how it is broken down into blocks.

WOW, it has been completely restructured from when I had my Exploration and Exploitation Drafting Company downtown Bayou City, Texas. Sure wish I had an old copy around somewhere.

Had some squalls move through a little bit ago, lightning and thunder in them.
