New fireplace/grill and patio upgrade

Postby Norway Joe » Sat Oct 30, 2021 8:37 am

Bought this little thing a few days ago. It comes with a grill grate, iron pan that is slick on one side and with riles on the other. You can buy a waffle iron, iron kettle and coffee kettle that can be hung in a chain over the fire. Today we use it as a fireplace but it can also be filled with charcoal. Look forward to do some outdoor cooking on it.

Also spent a couple of days in the garage, turning it in to a carpenter shop. Made a couple of homemade adirondack chairs. Found some drawings on the internet that I used.

Enjoying a quiet afternoon around the fire with a cold Ringnes beer

Pictures are showing in opposite directions.

Joe, build the fire in that lower pan. Then fill that kettle with lard. Then fill a big cooler full of beer, and fry up a mess of chicken and have the neighbors overs.
